Rita Salloum, the Founder and President of Heart to Hear You Christian Coaching Ministries, is a remarkable individual with a diverse range of talents and passions. She has dedicated her life to teaching personal growth, making a positive impact on the lives of many. She is a master life coach and counselor, also owning her own private business-- GloCoaching & Counseling.
An experienced educator and international speaker, Rita’s desire to help others extends well beyond the borders of any one state or country.
Rita's genuine interest in people is evident in her approach to life. She is a mother of three grown boys—Jospeh, James, and Thomas -- and grandmother to a handsome young man named Jonah, who is her abiding joy. She will tell you quickly that she has a heart for parents and for young people.
Rita brings Heart to Hear You a wealth of experience in both the fields of life coaching and counseling. She holds a Doctorate in psychology, earned from University of Bristol. Her passion for understanding the human mind and behavior led her to pursue a Masters degree in psychology from Holy Spirit University.
Rita's pursuit of knowledge did not stop there. She also holds degrees in arts and education, sociology, and philosophy, which have enriched her understanding of the complexities of human existence and the societal factors that shape our lives. In addition to her academic achievements, Rita has obtained life coach certifications from both the John Maxwell Team and the Professional Christian Coaches Institute.
Furthermore, Rita's dedication to holistic well-being is evident in her personal training certification in nutrition from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). This additional expertise allows her to address the vital connection between physical health and mental well-being, ensuring a comprehensive approach to coaching and counseling. Rita's warm and compassionate nature, combined with her vast knowledge and diverse background, make her an exceptional resource for anyone seeking guidance and support. Her ability to connect with individuals on a deep level, coupled with her practical strategies, enables her to empower others to overcome challenges and unlock their full potential.
She is quick to credit the Lord with placing on her heart the calling to simply be present for others and listen to them, acknowledging their deep-seated pain and uncertainty, and to offer guidance. As the demand grew and the need to help others became so overwhelming, the Heart to Hear You ministry was born, driven by a genuine desire to support and empower individuals in their personal journeys.
Those who have been clients of hers and who know her as a friend and a Christian woman can testify to her expertise and compassionate nature that have made her an invaluable resource to those seeking guidance and support.
“Whatever led you to seek out this website, I would like you to know something before you continue. One, you are not alone. And two, you matter. Whatever your story, your struggle, your work, your successes. You aren’t a problem to be solved or one of many faces in an ocean of billions. You are the purposeful creation of a God who loves you unconditionally. I would consider it a privilege and an honor for Heart to Hear You to help you grow in your life and in your faith”—Rita Salloum

John has been a university professor in psychology and theology for almost 20 years. Prior to entering higher education, he was an ordained minister and senior pastor and also served as a hospice chaplain. No stranger to grief and sorrow, John lost a son, Jordan, who passed away in 2020 at the age of 32.
Rounding out his professional interests, he recently added to his specialties the study of the prevalence of narcissism in today’s world. He is currently working on two books—one deals with finding and living out one’s purpose in life. The other is a Christian approach to conflict resolution.
“Rita and I got to know each other as professional coaches and I was immediately struck by her deep love of people and her heart for those who were hurting, for whatever reason. Her desire to help those who needed to reach out, but had no one to turn to, was inspiring and contagious. It wasn’t long before I wanted to be a part of her dream of a ministry to connect with those people. I strongly believe in what Heart to Hear You is all about and I am both proud and excited to be part of this international ministry.”
John has two children-- a daughter, Lindsey, and son-in-law, who also live in Texas with his three grandchildren, Kaden, Maryn, and Bowen.
A father for two boys, grandfather for one and a husband for a faithful wife. I served God in different ways for years. I have experience in HR, Management and Administration. At Heart to Hear You, we believe that every person has a voice that needs to be heard. Our mission is to empower individuals and communities to make positive changes in their lives.
One of the core offerings of Heart to Hear You is the Basic Life Coaching class. This class equips volunteers with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to effectively coach individuals through life's challenges and help them achieve their goals.
In addition to the Basic Life Coaching classes, Heart to Hear You also offers advanced classes that go beyond the fundamentals. These sessions focus on addressing specific areas of need and ensure that our Advocates are equipped to handle a wide range of a seeker’s issues.
We place a high value on the well-being and growth of our volunteers. It is our great desire to set the industry standard for encouraging and supporting those who are so committed and loyal. Heart to Hear You acknowledges the significance of spiritual growth in personal and professional development. As a result, the ministry hosts opportunities for Advocates to engage in prayer and Bible studies.
Above all, Heart to Hear You firmly believes that one cannot pour from an empty cup. Therefore, it is the ministry's mission to prioritize the well-being of its volunteers and empower them to be the best versions of themselves. In this way, they can more effectively help others to do the same.
